I am having one problem in the MacOS which is running with the Avast 2.74r0 which is now giving me a virus alert. It is alerting me for Hupigon-ONX Trojan in my vmware files. I have checked the Mac Cookies and got one file internetconfigpriv.plis. The VM i am running is Windows XP. So help me with the same. I have searched and it is something known as False Positive.

As per my knowledge it is known as the False Positive. This can be possible that the this malware is hidden in somewhere in the Windows file System that you have to check and resolve it. This is not the problem with the Mac OS it is also noticed in most of the image file. So try to remove it and then see whether it is working or not.

If you are getting that Trojan Virus notification then i think that you have to remove it immediately it might be possible that it will create issue with the File System of your operating system. I am using the Avast which is having the ability to deal with this kind of virus. So if you can then install the same and remove the virus from the computer of yours.

I will advise you to use the some disk-wiper which is helpful for cleaning the unused data or the data which is of no use on the File System. You can use the disk-wiper to clean the Infected installation also. The disk-wiper also work with the Avast. So try this out and clear the infection of the same that you are getting.

I will advise you to install some AntiSpyware which will run the system scan and detected the infection and forcefully remove the same from the System. But one thing that you have to make sure that the AntiSpyware is running with the Updated virus database definition. So install anti spyware and run the system scan.

I have run the system scan for the spyware and detected one in the Virtual Drive of mine so i have deleted the same. But after that one more problem started. After that when i am going to the Virtual drive i am getting message that Virtual Drive does not exist. I am unable to fix this issue. So if you can then please help me.

I think that you might have deleted some internal file of the Virtual Drive that is why you are unable to access the same. So in this case i will advise you to repair the installation of the Virtual Drive which might get the Virtual Drive working for you. I hope that you don't have to install complete VM again. Thanks
