Removed Security Essentials 2010, xp just keeps rebooting

Last week I have got the Paladin fake antivirus software; I have seen the guides and resolve this problem. I thought that there won’t be any further issues. Last night I was surfing the site for Photoshop tutorial and then I got the new Security Essentials. Hence for getting rid of this I have followed the same procedure. Used the hijackthis for removing few entries and then finally CrapCleaner for cleaning the temporary files, after that I have removed the folders that is present in the program file related with security essentials. I have observed that that was still present on the C: drive. Hence the next step I have done is to remove that and rebooted the system. After that my system is not loading properly, it just comes up to final loading screen and then restarts. I want to know why after I have removed Security Essential 2010, xp just keeps rebooting.

First of all if your system is not starting then try to start the system in safe mode. You just need to press F8 at the time of reboot. If your system starts in safe mode then you need to restore your system. You have to go to Start menu, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore, Restore my computer to an earlier date. Click on one of the days marked in bold to select a restore point.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBAM) and follow these simple steps:
    1. Double click the downloaded file to start the installation process.
    2. In the "Update", click on the button "Search for update": if the firewall requesting permission to connect to MBAM, agrees.
    3. Once the update is finished, give yourself in the "Search" tab.
    4. Select "Run a quick review"
    5. Click on "Search"
    6. The analysis starts, the scan is relatively long, it's normal.
    7. At the end of the analysis, a message appears:
    8. Click "OK" to continue. If MBAM found nothing, he will tell you too.
    9. Close your browser.
    10. If malware has been detected, click on Show Results.
    11. Select All (or leave checked) and click Remove Selected, MBAM will destroy the files and registry keys and put a copy in quarantine.
    12. MBAM will open Notepad and copy the report analysis. Copy-paste this report and post it in your next reply.

I am also facing the similar problem, I mean my system is also restarting at regular interval and I do not know why this happening. For example if I try to work with adobe Photoshop or if I try to read a CD-ROM or just when I am on the net, it restarts. It's quite annoying and I do not know what to do to solve this problem, I have also tried to do a system restore but that does not help me.

Well I am not confident but may be this problem is related to the update. Actually a year ago, I was also facing the same issue, for solving this I have gone to the Microsoft website and updated my system after I passed the antivirus. After that I have not faced this problem. As I have said that I am not sure for this but you can try. If that does not resolve the problem then this issue is related to the hardware.

It may possibly be a hardware problem. It seems like it may come from an overheating your processor or motherboard. When there is overheating the motherboard will restart for safety. So see if all your fans are working properly, especially the CPU. It can also come from your memory; trying to replace your bars or removal or dusting or swap!
