As you said the problem exists with two different internet connections, that means the problem is in your system and after so many solution it is not getting fixed. Finally, what i can suggest you is take a backup of your documents, bookmarks and all, and reinstall a fresh copy of Windows. Am sure there is some unknown problem with the system that is troubling you and will be fixed after formatting.

I think that Windows might be turning off network adapter to save power. Turn off the power-saving option in the network adapter's properties (wired network adapters only):

1. Open Network Connections by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Network and Internet, clicking Network and Sharing Center, and then clicking Manage network connections.

2. Right-click the connection, and then click Properties. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

3. On the Networking tab, click Configure.

4. On the Power Management tab, clear the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power check box, and then click OK.

**** man, thanks for the advice, and good thinking I did exactly what you said but its still being a son of a whore. I can talk to people on msn and ventrilo but the browsers still just stop after a while, and the screen never loads, just a white screen and the loading bar creeps up to the halfway point and then stops.

Try to re assign all the network configuration that has been set up. Check out on control panel the option as internet connections. Then on the network icon right click and check out properties. As it is been done you need to choose TCP/IP and then again select properties. Now re assign all the configuration and then restart the system. Now check out.

so i go to control panel then network and internet, and then "network sharing center" then get properties of the icon and uncheck everything thats checked and re check it? Sorry again, im slow when it comes to computers and instructions.
