How do you stop Netmeeting Remote Desktop Sharing on startup?

Hi, i am a Windows XP user. here i just need a little tip regarding Netmeeting Remote Desktop Sharing. Actually whenever i start my system, Netmeeting also starts running in the background. I tried to stop it by doing "msconfig", but there is also no option for that. Its very annoying for me. Is there any way i can stop Netmeeting Remote Desktop Sharing on startup?

NetMeeting Remote Desktop Sharing is one of the useful tools of Microsoft. I tried to find out the solution you need but dint found. Well, nothing is the annoying part if it starts at windows startup. You can do one thing, let the pc boot completely. Once done, open your task manager, find the process of Remote Desktop Sharing and kill it. Simple

I am not sure whether is it possible to disable Netmeeting startup with windows but i guess it could be done from the registry. First take a backup of your Windows registry and try to search in the startup folders in registry location. Its:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

    Or

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Don't you need Netmeeting Remote Desktop Sharing ? If no than, better uninstall it from add and remove program. And if yes, than whats the problem if its starts with windows startup ? Let it be or kill it from task manager.

I have never tried but while searching on google i found a little tip. hope this can help you. Find and go the netmeeting directory and remove everything inside the folder. Dont delete the folder.

Now go to security permissions for the folder and remove all permissions. Let me know the result.
