    question Network tool to listen and route IP packets according to IP locations

    Hi all, I need some development ideas.

    I want to build up a tool to receive packets from LAN, read their data and route them to pre-defined IP hosts using a database where IPs are mapped into Areas created by user.
    Ex:
    192.168.10.1 - 192.168.10.100 = Area A --> Destination IP 192.168.10.201
    192.168.10.101 - 192.168.200 = Area B --> Destination IP 192.168.10.202 etc.

    So if the tool receives a packet from 192.168.10.3 it will forward it to 192.168.10.201.

    I want to know whats the best way to hold these IP data.. A data table or XML etc. and the best way to add, modify or delete them ( changing a Area assigned to a IP address)

    If you have any idea or suggestion you are very much welcome.. please let me know. Thnaks

    Re: Network tool to listen and route IP packets according to IP locations

    This performance is able to take place if the home network's static IP address and subnet mask be in the right place to a dissimilar class of TCP/IP address and subnet mask. For illustration, this performance can take place if you are using a class a network address (for illustration, 10.0.1.x) through a class C subnet mask (in support of illustration, 255.255.255.0) resting on the LAN. In these circumstances, Network Address Translation (NAT) does not perform correctly and the IP routing resting on the ICS host does not occupation.
