Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 installation problem

During the installation of Kaspersky's security suite on my system it displayed error message: " installation failed. Why i do not know but this problem is really troubling me because i do not have any other antivirus appplication installed on my system. I browse as well as download a lot and i want my system to be secure enough.

If your PC is equipped with a previous version of Kaspersky antivirus, first download and launch software cleanup of Kaspersky.

• Search on the Web page support site of Kaspersky, the sentence: " Download the archive kavremover10.zip "(See screenshot attached).
• Download the linked file, unzip it and start installation. Follow the instructions on the webpage, then restart your computer.

It appears as the setup file which you have are using on your system in order to install the Antivirus application is not proper and hence i would suggets you to download and install a new file if possible try to download it from the official website. This newly downloaded file will help you to install the Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 on your system.

I will suggest you a different approach in order to resolve this issue.

1. Uninstall any existing protection.
2. Build from one of your other PC Kaspersky Emergency CD (in the menu + Utilities).
3. Start the computer from this CD recalcitrant and run a full scan hard drives to eliminate viruses.
4. Restart the installation Kaspersky 2010.

The main reason for your problem is that the earlier version of the kaspersky antivirus has not been removed from your system and hence you will have to get rid of all the traces of the Kaspersky Antivirus application which you have on your system i would suggest you to download and install Revo Uninstaller on your system.
