Avast 4 PDA edition @ DOPOD 818 Pro

Hi there, I am having an issue with the Avast 4 PDA edition @ DOPOD 818 Pro Whenever i am trying to install the update of the same but the it is not updating i don't know due to what reason in my DOPOD 818. So if any one else having the same problem then let me know about the same. A help may be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey i think you forgot to give me the specification of your device which will makes us to find the solution in better way. So if possible please provide me the same and also discuss the complete issue which you are getting with your updating process. i.e. Error message that you are getting while trying to update.

Yes i have to discuss the complete problem in detail. Actually when i am updating trying to update my Avast 4 PDA edition through the GPRS it wont and i have tried updating the with the help of the WIFI and notebook but that does not work for me. It always shows me that problem is with gwes.exe.
Here is the specification of mobile

• CPU : OMAP850
• Speed : 195 Mhz
• RAM Size : 64 MB
• Flash Size : 128 MB
• Microsoft Windows Mobile Version 5.0

The gwes.exe error are generated when the some application are passing a invalid api to manifest. So i think you are also having the same issue. Can you please attach the file of your error log so that we can check that log and find the proper solution for the same. I hope you will help us with the same as we have asked about

As per my knowledge the gwes.exe is is the executable file for loading display driver as well as printer driver and in touch screen enable phone it works as touch screen display driver. It is used in the Windows Mobile which i think you are using. So it is better to update the firmware of your device so the problem loading this driver must be solved.
