Get rid of Win32/Opdoc.A

I have found one virus on my windows vista named as Win32/Opdoc.A. i do not know from where this virus have entered in to my system but i just want to get rid of Win32/Opdoc.A as soon as possible because i do not want to format my windows as i have many important data on it and i know that if this infection will go further in more places in my computer then last option and first option will be leaving of Formatting the windows.

Have you tried to remove the Win32/Opdoc.A by using the Safe Mode of the window system. Safe Mode is a booting options provided in every windows OS in which your secures the copy of windows so that it does not get affected while removing the viruses out of your computer. You have to restart your computer then keep on pressing the F8 key which will take you to the Windows Vista Booting Options from where you can select for the safe mode.

When your security software does not works for removing the viruses then you must make your computer dependent on the firewall of your windows system as it is the only feature available by default in every windows system. You can enable the firewall on your computer by going to the Network And Security and switch to the Security tab there, here you will be having an options to change the settings for Firewall.
