    Re: Limited Connectivity

Exactly, its not the router but the wireless network card itself that is not configured properly, you can see here:

Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection:

    Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
    Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Realtek RTL8187B Wireless 802.11b/g 54Mbp
    s USB 2.0 Network Adapter
    Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-16-44-B0-99-89
    DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes
    Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes
    Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address. . : 169.254.94.118(Preferred)
    Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.0.0
    Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :
    NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Enabled
It is clearly stated that your network card is not configured and no particular IP is assigned to it. This can be due to either your router's DHCP is not enabled or it is placed at a location far from the wireless router. Rectify the culprit and make the corrections.

    Re: Limited Connectivity

    Okay

"no particular IP is assigned to it" The IP on my computer is set to auto obtain. The DHCP on my computer said enabled when I ran the IP config. It is on auto obtain.

The router can be that far away because when I go to connect it shows the strength as having all 4 bars but then one wireless network wont let me connect and the other connects with limited connectivity.

This is the connection the school uses and it works on everyone elses laptops.

Any ideas what I need to change or do next?

    Re: Limited Connectivity

In that case i would suggest you to reinstall network drivers and have a check for the same hope it works for you, after that if you are still facing the same issue then, i think there is some another issue in your laptop.
