Configure the network card in linux

Good evening, I just brand new in Linux.

I installed the Suse Linux version v10.0, and my first question is: Does this version works with 64bit processors?,

The second, much larger, is, How do I configure the network card so I could connect? What are the nVidia drivers for this version? What games are playable under Linux, without emulators?

    Thanks and best regards

Yes, this is the Linux ... The case is distributions for x86 and x64 you need the x64.

    To configure the network card:

    ifconfig
NVidia drivers on the official website. Some games work perfectly and others need emulators.

And with games nose, looks for google, but there are many games you can play for example quake 4 is there for you. There are many more available, try by searching on google for games for suse. The packages should be in RPM.

If the package maintainers offer an RPM, they more than likely will, but you could run into the problem of dependencies, Which is a real pain sometimes. I'd recommend trying to find these games in YaST, Because it will handle any dependencies for you ....

    ifconfig
With this get to see the card configuration parameters, but nothing more.
The Suse distro, comes with a control panel, call it, and within this, a module for configuring the network. If this do not enough, you could use from the console

    netconfig
