Filezilla permits access to directory FTP to your host or the pages of your characters FAI (free, wanadoo, nine) that contains your web site or your personal pages. This is called an FTP client and is an excellent software to update your web pages, files and documents online. We have already seen how to use the personal pages of its Internet access provider with a WebFTP, a solution often proposed by some hosts.

Filezilla permits you to quickly and easily take your files online to post a photo on the Internet, you have to generate a forum or a website. Download the latest version (free, GPL), in the setup.exe Filezilla on Source Forge. Follow the installation instructions by default and run the application, to add up your server you will need to first configure an FTP account in Filezilla.

Here are more settings fro you to configure the ftp account. First in the Edit menu, click settings then Firewall settings tick passive mode and click OK. This will permit you to bypass any firewall. This necessary for data transfer. Otherwise it will be blocked by your firewall and connection will be terminated in between.
