How to remove vundo.jd virus

My system is infected with the vundo.jd virus. Also the AVG is showing two of its version right now in my scan. I have windows Vista installed on my system and because of this infection my system is running very slow. So please suggest me a solution so that i can get rid of the vundo.jd virus. Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

Well I have faced the similar threat before a month and i tried a lot of procedures to get rid of it but could not found a solution at last i had to format the system and the reinstall the Operating system after that i installed an Antivirus as a precautionary measure and after that i have no been infected by that vundo .jd virus. I would also like to say that do not waste time in searching for solution simply format your system and get rid of this virus.

Hi Thanks for replying me as far as i know i think that a virus can be removed with some or the other antivirus and also i am aware of formatting the system but it has some of the file which are very much important to me and hence i cannot format the system. So please try to suggest some solution which helps me to solve the problem without formatting the computer system. Any thank you once again.

If you want to get rid of this threat without formatting your system then try to download the Malwarebytes anti malware utility which can be downloaded freely from the internet and then run the quick scan and delete all the detected threat or else download the spyware doctor and scan it . For getting rid of this threat follow the instructions mentioned below:
1. Download the SUPERAntiSpyware Free which is free for home users
2. Install this spyware and use the default settings during installations.
3. Now, launch the program by double clicking on it.
4. If it asks for update then update, If it did not ask for it then do it manually.
5.
6. Now , go to "Configuration and Preferences", and Click the Preferences button.
7. Click the Scanning Control tab.
8. Now in the scanning control tab check the following
a) Close browsers before scanning.
b) Scan for tracking cookies.
c) Terminate memory threats before quarantining.
and leave rest unchecked

9. Click the "Close" buttonif you want to exit the control center screen.
10.Now you will return to the main screen under "Scan for Harmful Software" click Scan your computer.
11. On the left, make sure you check C:\Fixed Drive.
12. On the right, under "Complete Scan", choose Perform Complete Scan.
13. Click "Next" to start the scan. Please be patient while it scans your computer.
14. After scanning the system completely , a Scan Summary box will appear with potentially harmful items that were detected. Click "OK".
15. Check every thing on that and click next button.
16. A new message will appear "Quarantine and Removal is Complete". Click "OK" and then click the "Finish" button to return to the main menu.
17. Then reboot the system.

I have suffered from the similar problem in the past and for removing it i just tried a lot of utilities like the malwarebytes and antimalware bytebut it turned of no use at last i had to scan my system online with the help of the vundo remover tools that really helped me it is also a free service. if nothing had worked for you then just go for it.
