    How to connect two Routers??

I am having two routers with me. One of my router has WAN while the other I kept to act as wifi, the reason is my PC which is far away from the router. Now I am not able to use the internet in my PC. I have set the channel of the both routers as same. Is there something I am missing? Does anyone know how to connect the two routers for the PC ?

Its better if you are having the two routers of the same brands. Let Router 1 be your primary and the Router 2 as the other. Here are the steps you should follow :

    1. Connect the WAN port with a cable to the Modem.
    2. After connecting it (simple) connect the Router 1 to the LAN port.
    3. Now you have to create a home network. Here you can configure the settings as Wireless or Hard wire according to you. Test your PC that it is connecting to Internet properly.
    4. Connect a network cable to Router 1 and put the another end to the Router 2.
    5. Hook up your computer that will be using Router 2 to the LAN port using network cables.
(You can also include many PC's in this scenario)

Once you connect the router 1 to your PC check whether it is working properly. You can check the connection by going to the Start >> Run >> CMD.
(type cmd in run). Once you enter the DOS type the command

    Ping 192.168.1.1

This should be default IP address of your primary router. Once you are able to ping properly then type

here you can enter the router default user name and password. I recommend you to enable security to avoid unauthorized access or theft of Internet connections using wireless.
Don't forget to click on "Save settings".

Then follow the later steps. (as explained by Zachary)

Re: How to connect two Routers??

I was successful in connecting the two routers. These were my settings on the primary Router

    IP Address: 192.168.1.1
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    DHCP Server: Enable

You can also change your IP address to the slave router. In my case it was

    IP Address: 192.168.1.101
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    DHCP Server: DISABLE

After this I was able to use my both routers flawlessly.
