Win32/Bagle.AY infected Compaq Presario 610FD VH452PA laptop

A security threat Win32/Bagle.AY has infected my Compaq Presario 610FD VH452PA laptop since the last ten days. All my efforts to delete this security threats are failing. I am not able to browse internet at the same speed. I keep on receiving spam mails very regularly that also in huge numbers. Also there are a lot of pop-up messages that get displayed even after turning the Pop-up blocker on. Please also help me with some secure anti-virus program.

This is an email worm. Probably got routed to your system through a email attachment, sharing files or shared folders. The worm the ends the mcvsshld.exe, mcshield.exe, Vshwin32.exe, mcagent.exe,... and many such related processes. It also keeps a track of all the email addresses of the infected email account. Try the Safe Mode booting to scan your entire system to delete the virus by rebooting your system and tapping the f8 key.

I have tried the Safe Mode to delete this Win32/Bagle.AY worm but initially it was all fine for 2 days and latter again the same problems started to occur. I tried this Safe Mode option three times but still this worm is not deleted. I am not able to even up-date my anti virus. It is also getting transferred through USB drives. What should I do ?

It seems the virus has also infected your anti virus program. Uninstall the anti virus program at once and even remove it from the Control Panel as well. Download the Norton Internet Security 2009 anti virus. First Restore your laptop using the System Restore utility on the System Tools. Once the system is restored then scan your system using Norton anti virus to destroy the virus completely.
