WSUS not updating

I have installed WSUS server on a windows 2003 R2 standard edition sp2. I have created a OU in AD for WSUS Server and I have created a WSUS_Server group in WSUS console. The WSUS server is getting recognized fine in WSUS server and gets automatically assigned to WSUS_Server group. However, when I approve an update for WSUS server. the updates are not getting installed.

I ran the clent diagnostic check on WSUS server and all the results are successful. There is no internet proxy or firewall. I have run the RSOP to confirm if its getting the right AD policy and it is getting the right policy. I have tried WUAUCLT /REAUTHORIZE /DETECTNOW, still no go.

I have tried registering few DLL's and have restarted teh server, still the updates are not getting in the WSUS Server itself though the updates are getting downloaded from Microsoft. Attaching WindowsUpdate.log file. Pls let me know the possible causes of this error and what should I do to resolve this.

Please note that I have provided the WSUS Server name in the SPECIFY INTRANET MICROSOFT UPDATE SERVICE LOCATION " in WSUS GPO setting (its own name) for the WSUS Server itself. I hope this is correct.

There are some points which are needed to check for the issue. First the are considered as installed by it. Check that the hard disk does not has a bad sectors and at some time run check disk to determine the same. When you browse the directory structure of WSUS. Restart the service called as Update Services and reboot.
