How to set virtualisation for small firm?

Hello,
I have manage a small network for my organization.were we have 10-15 clients. I want to know about the virtualisation. What is that? An also want to know can we implement the virtualisation for small organization ? how we can do this? Anybody know about this ?Any suggestion??
