Network drive folder disappears

I'm in a business where we have multiple drives connected to networks (shared, public, scan, etc.). The concern lies in the fact that when I created a folder in a subdirectory of one of these readers, it disappears when I leave the window and I'll be back. It is not removed because when I try to access the address bar, I get there. It is not in a hidden file for when I check the option to show hidden files and folders I do not see it either. Moreover, my colleagues are fully conversant with these issues but I do not see it. What to do? We are on Windows XP Pro.

If your colleagues can see the directory then the actual trouble comes from your machine or your account. If you press F5 does it appear on the same subdirectory ? And what about your computer? Please provide some information about your computer.

In fact I am a computer technician and this is my first week. My tutor is only very rarely on site. I'm all alone in the middle of it all and I confess that here I block! When I update it does nothing! Can anyone help me please? Maybe not a virus?

You have tested from another computer with your profile? Or on your own computer with another profile? Try to do so immediately on the server?

By logging on another machine with his account, we could see the files. The problem came from Novell, a kind of specialized network OS that is installed with Windows. Reinstalling solved the problem, thank you anyway.
