DHCP on VLAN with Server 2003

I have a project with some VLAN network, a switch and a Cisco router, 2003 server and some clients spread over different VLANs. My problem is to assign scope of IP addresses per 2003 server in different network interfaces on my server. Basically my DHCP server listen on different network cards (physical or logical) and depending on the card is a scope that is selected.

Does this kind of manipulation is possible with 2003 server. Otherwise it is possible to set up a dhcp server for virtual interface on a Cisco router?

You can have a care free Windows 2003 DHCP server with one NIC, the server in a given VLAN and ensure that it distributes IP addresses to multiple machines of VLAN. Obviously it will issue the IP corresponding to the IP subnet VLAN. With multiple network cards, never tried.

OK, so I can create multiple pools of dhcp ip on my Microsoft leaving the server in one vlan and ask my cisco router to redirect requests from an IP client vlan to the dhcp server but how? Is the difference between customers vlan 10 and vlan 20 of those for distributing an addr that goes? I'm open to possibilities as I can do this with a cisco router and/or server 2003.

The DHCP server of Windows 2003 is far more intelligent than you suppose! Make sure you have your server as VLAN server and ensure that it distributes IP addresses to all VLANS. As indicated, its the command ip helper address on Cisco router that allows the redirect to broadcast DHCP server. And the server will send an appropriate range of IP based gateway to VLAN from which the query. In each of your VLANS you'll have a gateway. I always do that with the Cisco L3 switch but a Cisco router must know do that too!
