    Private nameserver registration

    Hey friends,

I have a question regarding Name server.I understand a lot of hosting companies bidding private Nameserver registration. If a user asked one from a hosting company how would you think about sitting that up? Also if you have a company that used someone's reseller can you possibly have a private Nameserver for your clients?

thanks for any sense making replies

DNS is really complex and I guess that you got better idea of DNS.You have to built child nameservers for every nameserver that you brand privately....these child nameservers really have A records pointing to ip addresses of the nameservers of your registrar..ensure to allow Sharing Nameserver Ips under WHM >> Main >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings

Normally they offer custom nameservers for all their clients. If customer requests for it,They click 'Activate Private Nameservers' button and everything gets done on autopilot. It would be fairly complex task to configure private nameservers manually when you have many customers. If you had set up the new nameservers at your present domain registrar as ns1.example.com and ns2.example.com then they would be pointing to your site at bluehost whatever domain name you are using.

    Re: Private nameserver registration

You should think a .com domain for your private nameservers if that would be feasible for you.Enom does it precisely and you can get Enom account from us. You will amount around £10 for 2 years registration of .co.uk, but dealing with nameservers and everything else will be quite comfortable.you should consider Fasthosts if you maintaining your personal or business domains with them since they charge your credit card till it expires. If you register some domains for customers then you will required to pay for those even if your customers decide to avoid.
