Reset internet Connection

Hi,
I use Adsl internet and want to reset my connection it at a certain time with windows scheduled task program.
is there any software (or command) to reset my connection ? i don't want to kill the connection just want to reset means the connection can redials to connect again.

There is no dedicated software for this. But you can use cmd when you feel that you internet is working slow. This is a simple way by which you can reset it at any time. First click on Start > Run > type cmd. In the command windows give the command netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt and hit enter. Your internet connection will be refreshed. The same command can be used multiple time.

Alternatively you can write the above command in notepad file then change the extension to .BAT , and configuring the scheduled task to run it every particular time. it is working.

It didn't work for me.after execute that command in cmd not only nothing happened but also when i disconnected, i couldn't connect to internet till i restarted my pc.

For windows XP , follow the steps below

• Click on start menu>RUN and type ncpa.cpl
• Click ok, Right click the appropriate connection and click repair.
