    Worm in USB drive

I have bought a Kingston's DataTraveler 16gb usb drive that only has Boost and no other programs on it. As soon as I connected it to my computer, I was shocked to find out that there was a worm in this drive which my antivirus detected. So I tried to format it but then I got an error message saying that "this file is in use" and after that "windows is unable to format this drive". The worm that was detected was called "Win32/Delf.NFB" worm. So can anyone tell me how to remove worm from usb drive? Thank you

(Under Vista, you right-click RSIT.exe and choose Run as administrator)
    • Click on Continue to display the disclaimer.
    • If the tool HijackThis (current version) is not present or not detected on your computer, download the RSITY (allows access in your firewall, if requested) and you must accept the license.
    • When the scan is complete, two text files will open. Post the contents of log.txt (it's one that appears on the screen) as well as info.txt (you'll see in the taskbar).

Note: Reports are saved in the folder C: \ RSiT.

    Re: Worm in USB drive

I have been also having this problem for a few days. I get the following message when I boot my computer:

Please CD / DVD in drive C: Insert

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware has found nothing and the CCleaner is already gone through without any issues.

Just for fun, I then put the stick at times in my laptop since Nod32 detects the following:

    autorun.inf worm Win32/Delf.NFB

deleting it happens but after a few seconds a message comes back about the virus.

A scan of Nod32 on the affected systems has also provided no Results.

Can you give me a clue as I can, trying to eliminate?
The virus probably seems to come from the stick. However, the formatting of the stick has not helped.
