How to connect two subnets

Hi,
I have small office with 8 computers. I want to setup a small network with two subnets. I have one router. I want to connect two subnets to that router. I want 4 computers to connect to different sunbet with the router. Do i need one more router to setup the network? Can i connect two subnets and how?

You need a good router to do the job. Gateway can join two networks which has different protocols. If you are connecting two different LAN segments, you need a bridge which is easy to configure and you can use same logical subnet on those two segments. You can connect two networks like a bridge.

You are required to setup new static IP for all your computers and disable the DHCP clients to obtain configuration information for operation in an Internet Protocol network. You have to specify the gateway on client side which will be static IP to your router.

You need two routers to connect the two subnets for different computers. You need to configure second router like first one so all of the settings will be referred to the first router. Access the NetGear router web utility, and then disable the DHCP Server after connecting the computers to LAN port. Check manual for routing instructions.
