How to disable ethernet for dialup connection

I have two network adapters with me one is dialup connection and the other is broadband. Since dialups are slower than broadband, I want to disable dialup and use broadband connections most of the time. Every time I try to disable it from Network Connections, it gets enabled automatically. Can you show some different methods to disable ethernet for dialup connection?

You can use DevCon to disable your dialup connection. The DevCon utility is a command-line utility that acts as an alternative to Device Manager. Using DevCon, you can enable, disable, restart, update, remove, and query individual devices or groups of devices. The "devcon help" command will give more detailed help on this command.

To disable the dialup connection, click Release. To enable the dialup connection, click Renew. Or else you can even remove the dialup modem from your computer if you don't want to use. And whenever you want to use you can reinstall the modem any time and use the CD to install the drivers.

Open Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options. On the Connections tab, If you have a dial-up connection installed, there is a tick by "Always dial my default connection", change it to "Never dial a connection".
