Symantec norton keeps turning off auto protect

    Hi all,
i have norton antivirus. Everytime when i restart my computer, it keeps turning off the auto protect automatically. I kept auto protect turned on for long time but it w\seems not working for the moment. Anyone have any idea, why is that happening again and again?

    Thank you for any help.

Try to reinstall the norton again. May be your Windows firewall is turned off by Norton Internet Security. Don't forget to uncheck the option "turn off Windows Firewall" provided while reinstalling norton.

I think your system is infected with virus. Try installing another good antivirus and run system scan. Delete all the infected files. And install norton again to check the auto protect feature, make sure you will keep your antivirus updated and scan your system regularly.

It is Java issue. java is not upto date. Upgrade to the latest version of java. When updating java, close all the browsers to avoid interruption or error in installation. Restart your system after all the updates and check the antivirus again.
