    How to remove Win32 Heur virus

    I had installed Windows Xp along with AVG 8 antivirus program on my system. The problem is that just few days back i had done a complete scan of my system. AVG 8 keeps had detected a threat and i found win32 heur virus on my system. I ran a combofix, and it fixed that problem, but now the problem is that AVG keeps on detecting the same virus on my pc. So, can any body tell me that how can i remove Win32 Heur virus from my pc? Does any body knows about it? Kindly help me out to get rid of the above issue.

    Win32 Heur (heuristic), also known as the Win/32 Heur virus, is a high-risk self-replicating polymorphic trojan. he Win32/Heur virus infects PC's via dubious filesharing applications, corrupt media files, spam emails and porn related web sites. Once infected, Win32/Heur virus will modify Windows win32 system files, and install additional trojans, worms and viruses onto the infected computer.

    It usually installs onto Windows systems without the knowledge of the user. It infects computers through suspicious file-sharing applications, spam emails, corrupt media files etc. In order to remove the Win32/Heur virus, you need to download PCTools Internet Security which will completely removed the virus from your system.

    The best and safest way to remove win32 heur is by using a certified antispyware. To remove Win32 Heur Virus you need to clean (reset) your System Restore. You can also try out the following mention steps below.

    1. Turn off System Restore

    • Click on ‘Start,’ right-click on ‘My Computer,’ and select ‘Properties.’
    • Click on ‘System Restore.’
    • Access ‘Turn off System Restore.’ Choose ‘OK.’
    • Once the prompt to turn off ‘System Restore’ appears, click on ‘Yes.’
    • Now Reboot your system

    2. Create a new Restore Point

    • Click on ‘Start,’ right-click on ‘My Computer,’ and select ‘Properties.’
    • Click on ‘System Restore.’
