Why WiFi Disconnect and reconnect ?

Reason for WiFi Disconnection and reconnection

Problem of power: In this case, one must give the access point as accessible as possible by removing the objects nearby. It should also be noted that the load-bearing walls or concrete slabs greatly weaken the signal. If it is a MIMO access point, be sure to orient the antennas.

Proximity of other wireless networks: Many wireless networks side by side creating disturbances. It is advisable to change the broadcast channel default access point to minimize interference. Remember also to change the network name (SSID) by default.

Problem of implementation before the WiFi card: In the properties of the network connection (WiFi), click the Advanced tab, then uncheck "Allow the system to turn off this device".

Frequency of inappropriate: Some brands of WiFi receivers have preferences on the channel used by the WiFi access point. Thus, even 2 or 3 meters of the modem, some brands will have an unstable connection. As a whole, we can test some channels: 5, 6, 7, 10, 11 or 12. The centrinos (or more generally receivers integrated portable recent) work better on high channels: 10 or 11. This is the case also marks Dlink, Netgear, Linksys.

Interference related to a DECT cordless phones (DECT) use the frequency band 1800-1900 MHz while WiFi uses the 2.4 GHz band and 2 bands in 5 GHz. However, with equipment of poor quality, there may be interference (same problem with microwave ovens can interfere with the WiFi waves). If your DECT base is located close to the modem (less than a meter), two transmitters can then disrupt them. Result: WiFi disconnections and a parasite in your phone line. It may be sufficient to remove the basis of DECT to recover a stable WiFi connection and telephone line quality.

USB extension cable: With dongles (USB) WiFi, many manufacturers provide an extension cord to connect the USB key. This extension may create some interference, so you can take the test without the extension.

Network protocol unstable : Some network protocols are relatively unstable in a WiFi connection and can cause loss of connections. Just uninstall. To do this, go to the properties of the wireless connection, select the corresponding line in the general tab, then click uninstall below.

Re: Why WiFi Disconnect and reconnect ?

keeping Wi-Fi on while on "battery power" is some inefficient for the life of the battery that you would probably only use it once. if you want to remain connected to Wi-Fi you need to either keep it alive manually while out and about or if at a sourse for AC power, then set you device to remain on.
