    hi friends,

Currently, I am running Microsoft Vista and in that I am facing some communication issure with my MS Access 2007. I was able to access forms but for some reason, when I transferred the database to another system, I am getting the error msg similar to - "docmd.openform error was communicating with the ole server"

What is this error all about ? Can anybody please explain me about the same....

I was also getting the similar error message while communicating with OLE server. I did Shift + Alt + F11 and it displayed a 502473 in the bottom right-hand corner of the messagebox. I would suggest you to Shift + Alt + F11 and check what you are getting..

I have noticed this error to occur when I simply open VBA by pressing ALT-F11 and it occurs 3 to 4 times when I try to close the database. This type of error indicates that an invalid expression is entered.

You might have a non native control on your form. Make sure the ActiveX control is registered.

    regsvr32 activex.dll

    or

    regsvr32 activex.ocx
