    What is spe.atdmt.com.

I have recently started to get a box saying that Macromedia Flash player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation and that a local application is trying to communicate with spe.atdmt.com. I have run my Avg and found out nothing suspicious anything yet. So, does anyone has got any idea on what can it be and how can I stop it from appearing again and again. I am on Windows XP with SP3. Thank you

It looks like an ad server. So some program is trying to download an ad from that site.

First try putting spe.atdmt.com in restricted sites in internet options/security in your browser and if that doesn't help put 127.0.0.1 spe.atdmt.com into your hosts file.

They are cookies linked to advertising sites. If you are using Internet Explorer for a browser, a simple change of a setting can let you permanently block almost all tracking (3rd party) cookies. (Much easier then constantly removing them!) Go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Advanced > check-mark "Override automatic cookie handling" > Third party cookies > tick "Block" > OK > OK. Leave "Always allow session cookies" checked. Leave First party cookies set to "accept".
