Laptop wireless card for using internet on 2 laptops

hi guys,
m having a ADSL modem for broadband and my laptop is connected to it through a ethernet cable. m having a second laptop too on which i also want internet but in other room.So is there any way that i can use my 1st laptop wireless card to route it to second laptop in other room.

If you can post the Access point in a window, you have a really good chance of a good connection between the rooms. Of course you will need an access point. Stick with Netgear, or Linksys. The cheaper brands may not have the power. If you do go wireless, make sure you enable all security measures where possible, as you must know the risk involved with using a wireless network.

First you have to setup the router from being plugged in one of the access ports to login to router to make your settings.Then check if the wireless signal is good enough in the room. There is absolutely no difference what kind of network you are sharing. Follow any Windows ICS guide and it will Just Work. You need a crossover cable to connect the two computers. It will save you a lot of headaches if you just got two wireless adapters for both of the computers.

if you have windows xp then you have to create a network bridge on the Latitude wired to router and set your wireless cards to ad hoc mode. for that you need a wireless router on Both laptops and you could get a wireless Access Point and connect it to the router.

thnx for replying guys..i thnk u all not gttng me...i dont have wireless router and i dont want to buy it.. ...i want to use my laptop(connected to internet) wireless card as router so that my second laptop could have internet..
