Hi,

Try this:
- Insert the HP Photosmart Software CD in the computer CD-ROM drive
- Follow the instructions on the screen
- Connect the HP All-in-One to the computer using the USB setup cable included in the box on prompt
- If the connection fails, follow the prompts to correct the problem
- When the setup is finished, you will be prompted to disconnect the USB cable
- Test the wireless network connection
Make sure your wifi connection is within the range i.e. 3-4feet. Turn off firewall or antivirus if its running. There may be several programs running in the background. Close all programs including any P2P software if you are running.
Check following points:
- Determine the IP address of the printer
- Start the Add Printer wizard
- Select Local Printer and clear any check boxes for auto detection
- Select Create new port
- Select Standard TCP/IP port and configure it with the IP address of the HP
After the network printer test set to PASS, you need to put the Driver's CD in and find the IP address from the printer on your network. Then go to "add a printer". Pick Local Printer, uncheck "Automatically detect for" and click next. Highlight the "Create New Port" option in next window. In the dropdown list, select "Standard TCP/IP port" and click 'Next'. Enter the IP address from your printer and the port will figure itself out. Then it will ask you for drivers for this device. Go to the CD-rom for drivers disk.
