No power light on Linksys WRT54G2

hi,
Well I got a Router (Linksys WRT54G2 is a wireless-G broadband router) and having problems with it,When I plug the unit the power light and WLAN light do not come on at all. i tried connecting to the internet it doesn work, i tried resetting it doesn't work,Any ideas as to what may be wrong with the unit?

If you plug the router into their network, plug your laptop into your network you need to check the status page of the router to see if you are getting an ip address from them.

Your router is fried. Try resetting it for 1 minute if its lit up normally then it will work other wise you may have to replace it .

Make sure correct power adapter is connected. Test the power outlet by connecting some other device. Make sure power supply you get, matches the specifications given on adpater. Try to reset router for 2 minutes. Or else it might be bad.

I have the same exact problem. About 3-4 times a day I have to unplug and replug the adapter because of a flashing green power light. When the light is flashing green, Unplugging and plugging it back in solves the problem for a period of time, then it does it again. It does it regardless of my network. I have tried forwarding ports, DMZ, and even plugging the adapter directly into the Cable modem. All give the same results .... everything is fine for a while, then flashing green power light.
