McAfee Virus Scan 8.7i Disabled

hi,
i have i have a windows xp 64 bit operating system and i'm running mcafee 8.7 with the latest updates...
In event viewer I get Error = 0×7d1 : The specified driver is invalid.Does anyone know what causes this issue and how to fix it?Any help will be extremely appreciated.

Solution will be:

• Run REGEDIT
• Navigate to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\[mfebopk, mfeapfk, mfeavfk,etc.]
• Modify the ImagePath to be the full path to the driver, e.g. Instead of "system32\drivers\mfeapfk.sys" change it to "C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\mfeapfk.sys"
• Then Re-enable Mcafee Viruscan Enterprise 8.7i

This behavior can occur if the Update Root Certificates component is turned on and the computer cannot connect to the Windows Update server on the Internet. The Update Root Certificates component automatically updates trusted root-certificate authorities from the Microsoft Update server at regular intervals.

8.5 was supposed to remove 8.0 every time, but it didn't , when you used remove then install you got 99% success though when using 8.7 its supposed to remove but it hasnt every time in my tests, but when I set remove 8.5 then install it works.

I always read the manual and the readme and the KB but I only use what works.. and the upgrade function has never worked as successfuly as removal and install for me.
