    msnmsgr_plus.exe

I have a USB stick that I think is having a virus, which takes two forms:

    1. a hidden file named msnmsgr_plus.exe which is at the root of removable disks contaminated, which reappears even after I try to delete it,
    2. this virus changes the registry database by not allowing more open discs removed by double-clicking in My Computer, but only by
    Right-click/Open with ...

This virus infects all removable drives that pass on a PC system.

Does someone could tell me how to delete the hidden file and restore the registry? I did not find anything relevant on the Internet about it.

I guess you have already done different antivirus or antispyware scans? Or at worst you can do to restore Windows to an earlier date ... not better, if no virus was detected and removed properly

    Thank you for your answer!

Yes, I passed under the anti-virus scan of my system (Symantec upgraded one, etc ...), which sees nothing. For against, no spyware. What you advice?

From your experience, if nothing works, there is a risk that it develops a day or the other or I can live with it anyway? (Today, it appears, and it prevents automatic execution, but otherwise nothing bad yet).

Very good for the virus scan, have you tried with other antivirus? There are online virus scanning as Bitdefender or Trend Micro, for example, which are complementary rather I'll say.

Otherwise on Symantec, I'll say that unfortunately this is not the most effective, I speak knowingly, because I had many infected machines as recently as last week. At worst there Antivir which is relatively efficient and free when you use it for personal use only hitch is window displays a pub before the update but otherwise very good.

As for the spyware, MalwareBytes ago which is really pretty and SUPERAntiSpyware that I tested last week and managed to remove spyware from the machine.
