The IP Changer basically does for your Internet connection what "Caller ID Blocking" does for your phone. There is nothing wrong with trying to keep your IP address private for the right reasons. If there is any question, you should consult with a legal advisor to confirm that your intended use is legal.
Using our technology properly is legal. Our software does not do anything that Microsoft does not make inherently possible in the Windows operating system, and it is very commonly applied in corporate settings. We simply make the same technology available to average users.
Use of our software for illegal activities will not protect you. Law enforcement could most likely subpoena a server operator for your true information.
Our software, like any other tool, is intended to be used in a responsible manner for purposes of increasing online privacy of legitimate users who prefer that their IP address not be displayed on the websites they visit.
It is a violation of our terms to use the IP Address Changer for any illegal purpose.
