Firewall turns off by itself

Hello everyone

The security center tells me that my windows firewall is disabled as it is normally activated.

And it repeated 2 to 3 times per day

how to correct this error?

Try zone alarm , its free. This is what most folk use, it's free and far better than the Windows firewall anyway.

If the Windows firewall turns on OR off it won't matter.

This is a common issue with Windows. It just means that Windows Firewall takes longer to respond upon logon because other firewall programs have been previously installed, but are now disabled. So uninstall if you have previously installed any other firewall.

There is a specific malware that overrides Windows Firewall that you might have, which is the most common problem when this occurs. I know that scanning with BOTH Spybot Search and Destroy and Adaware WILL find it, but do it in Safe Mode only.
