I am facing a video display problem. I think my smooth-scrolling is enabled which is causing a problem of a script to be improperly timed, resulting in an error. How do I turnoff smooth-scrolling ?

When smooth-scrolling is turned off, screen readers will continue to read links correctly even when the next link is off the current screen, and voice recognition programs may perform better as well.
Steps:
1. On the Start menu: Select Control Panel
2. In Control Panel:
- Be sure you are in Classic View (all Control Panel icons are showing).
- If not, under Control Panel in the left pane, select Switch to Classic View.
- Select Internet Options.
3. In the Internet Properties dialog box: Select the Advanced tab.
4. On the Advanced tab, under Settings: Browsing: Turn the Use smooth scrolling setting on or off by selecting or clearing its check box.
5. To save your settings and close the dialog box: Select OK.
6. To close Control Panel: Select the Close button.
To turn off the Smooth Scrolling feature when you use Internet Explorer 6, follow these steps:
- On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
- On the Advanced tab, click to clear the Use Smooth Scrolling check box.
- Click OK, and then exit Internet Explorer.
