    Communications ports

    hello,
Is there a way to exploit some of these pins as port I / O ports, analog acquisition, or communication bus (I2C, CAN ...)?
RS232, VGA port, USB port, PS2 port, LAN port, LVDS port, IDE port and SATA port.
    thank you

    Re: Communications ports

I have the computing power of the processor for electronic applications and computers.
I can move me (except in the programming phase) of the keyboard, mouse and screen. DD is connected to either SATA or IDE.
For example I know that the VGA port I have a very useful I2C bus to communicate with other uP or uC.
    Thank you

    Re: Communications ports

Yes, the VGA port is analog.
This is the only a priori.
A serial port or parallel port (S) ATA is digital, ie 0 or 1. In addition, serial ports can not maintain a signal bits are followed & that's all. Unlike a parallel port where the bits can be maintained at a level (as long as we do not change their value).
So if you want analog, possibly using the VGA (coding, for example the levels of color) but does not dream: that's all. And then the VGA set to disappear (digital screens require) is not a viable long term.
After that, it will be the rich solution: a card I / O analog.
