    Have you tried stopping Norton from running at windows startup and then reboot to see if the problem still persists

    Try this
    Click on Start -> Run
    Type : CMD in the run box.
    A DOS box will pop up

    Type

    ipconfig /flushdns and hit enter
    Then type ipconfig /release then finally ipconfig /renew.

    This will allow you to see if you are getting an ip adds.
