File sharing in vista

Hi friends,

I am facing an issue while file sharing in Windows Vista.I am having another pC in which Windows XP is install and i want to have a sharing between my Windows Vista and Windows XP PC can anyone help me out with this issue it would be great for me.

Sure i will help you out with this issue, try to disable firewall and see is it working for you a what it worked for me.

I have try to do this but it didn't worked for me any other solution please.

I was also facing such kind of issue i tried for do this and it worked for me hope it will work for you also.

First you need to create a Private Network and follows are the steps for it.

Click on Start.
Click on Control Panel
Goto Network and than select Internet\Network and Sharing Center
Now Turn ON the file sharing and if you don't want a user name and password than turn OFF Password.
