printer is not detecting

iam having a printer in my network it is working fine before in local and remote but all of sudden it is not vewing in local but when iam connecting in remote iam able to view the printer i dont know what is the problem it think it is due to firwall can any body sujjest me it is urgent for me.

Before moving further, can you give me a brief idea of how you have connected the printer to your network? Also have you checked all your settings with the printer and also the cables? Meanwhile you can have a look at some similar threads made previously:

did you install any antivirus application before this problem were started ?? because this can happen due to while installation of firewall,you have selected that you're not trusting LAN completely.You can check this to try accessing a shared directory.so i think yes your right Problem is the Internet Security/FireWall Plus.
