Problem in DNS Server

Hello everyone,

I'm unable to connect to internet, whenever i try to connect it says that "unable to find the server in DNS". I don't know what exactly is going on. Can any one please help me out to resolve this problem?

Hey can you provide complete information about your system and what type of connection are using? Can you exactly tell us that what specific error you get when you try to connect to internet?

I have a Pentium4 with Windows Xp install on it. I have a cable connection through which i try to connect my internet. I use Gmail notifier for accessing the internet.

Is there any Firewall install in your system?

Follow this steps if you have installed any firewall in your system.

Windows security center-->Windows firewall-->Unblock list (exceptions) an then, Add Gmail Notifier + UPnP


Also check out whether the server computer has a valid functioning network connection. First, check that related client hardware (cables and network adapters) are working properly or not.
