virus that opens and closes my CD player

Hello,

I think I have a virus that opens and closes unintended my CD player. Does anyone have a solution before I change drive. I formatted my hard disk and reinstall Windows without success.

it is indeed possible that either the player but as-you checked or changed the cable?

Hello and thank you for your reply. To be more precise to reinstall windows I had open cd drive with a trombone by the small hole provided. I may be damaging the drive.
