    "disk error or network"

Hey, we have a database access, I think that is made with the
    Access 2000.

The issue is that this database is on a PC and had a link table to another who was in the same PCA's, both on the desktop.

Well this pc was broken and we have another new system with the same operating, but the Office 2003 version.

We have copied the database in the same places that are (desktop) and so on.

    Problems:

1 .- The database is open but found no linkage, we have taken that erases all linking back and link indicating where the table.

But now it turns out that when you connect from another computer on the network opens up the base, but when you try to open the text to write to you says: "Error disk or network "

Not only that, if you open another pc does not allow you to write on the basis of data that is found.

    taking these network problems, check:

    1) TCP is the default protocol
    2) The switch or router is not failing
    3) Your database is not corrupt.

    greetings,

The network is ok, before worked perfectly, the problem is now.

I opted for some security problem or that I have to uninstall the office 2003 and put back in 2000, maybe 2003 applies some specific security

Not in Office 2003 does not apply any specific network security ...
follows the suggestion Theodot, and additionally disable the Firewall windows on a temporary ... can be deconfigure (both off teams). If you do not Function should communicate with the author (If You Are Not Your) of the Base may have created a level of security when changing hard disk

And had turned off the firewall and nothing, the author does not know that it happens. The question is that the computer connects and you can enter from the others, even in and select certain fields, but when you get
in part to put the text already there gives you the problem, not before.
    .
And before anyone could put data into the table even at the same time,
not now, now you have opened the base in the computer server can write, but if from another pc the opening is blocked write, the keyboard is not going.

That was a documented problem with Jet & Netbios 3.51, that's why I suggest to review your protocols and it is also possible that your network card is not. This working properly. Note that even if you see another team
networking and resource sharing, it may happen that this team is this
off by very small fractions of time.
