group policies and homepages

Hi

Please excuse a question from a not very technical person.

We work as an independant business within the National Health Service, we have always had our own server and used it as we saw fit. As part of our contract we are now being given a new server which will be conected to local WAN. This will in effect lock down our pc.s etc to comply with group policies, which in the main we have no problem with, however we have our own intranet which appears whenever IE is selected and we would like this to continue. We are being told that we must have the local NHS intranet and that it would not be possible to allow us to have our own homepage. Sorry long winded I know my question is would it be possible for them to set us up for our own homepage (the intranet sits on my PC)and how technically difficult would this be. Some of the techies I have spoke to say it should be OK buthigher up the corporate ladder they are saying that is would make suppurting us too difficult.

Hi dennie,

From what i understood from your post is that you want your company's homepage to appear on each computer as their homepage and this should take effect in the new server, rite?
