    Thanks for the reply.

    The IPv6 is turned on and set for automatic, just as IPv4. That's how it's set up on my other PC and my flatmate's laptop. The network works just fine on those other computers, so it's set up properly.

    I went to services and both those you mention are set for automatic. When I try to start them, in both cases it actually comes up with exactly the same error: The dependency service or group failed to start.

    Any further ideas?
