    Binder (.OBD) file opening

I recently deleted office 2000 from my pc by mistake. I have got a number of documents tied up in binder files which I am not able to access to. So, I downloaded the Office 2007 Pro trial version and have tried everything to get my binder files open. I have called MS many times and sometimes they just sent me links on how to install the binder support option on the application. So I try it out but since there is no icon for binder support in the trial version I am stuck. Can anyone tell me whether there is an option in the full home and student version? If not then how can I access to my binder files? Thanks.

Well, I would say that you must reinstall Office 2000 agian and thus you will get the access for the binder file.

Well, incase you do not have the Office Cd anymore, then why dont you buy a cheap copy of Office 2003 from ebay or amazon and that will unbind in it.

There is an Office 97 'unbind' utility that will work with the Office 2000 .obd files as well to extract them from the binder to the individual files in the binder. You can download the Unbind utility from this link - http://microsoft.com/downloads/detai...4-7add36d84b8a
