Add custom tab to ribbon in office 2007?

I need some help to add a tab to Microsoft Office 2007 Ribbon. I hope there would be a way to do the same. I am trying to find the same under Word Option but I cannot find any way to insert my own shortcuts in ribbon. I thought this new version would be loaded with some new stuff that make the office more better. But still I am not able to find out any solution for it.

You can use some third part software like Ribbon Customizer for the same. This is available online for download. You can use this to customize the ribbon of microsoft word. It is not much effective but enough useful. It is a kind of very basic application that allow you to simply modify the ribbon and add remove components of your choice. While in Office there is no way to customize the same.

There is no way to do that. The ribbon is static. You cannot modify the same. You can simply enable and disable some options from that. Or else it will be waste of time in using third party software. There are chances that your office may face error while using the same. So better avoid editing the same with third party software. That would not be appropriate.
