Office 2007, does it have OCR?

Does Office 2007 Professional has OCR ? It was there in Office 2003 . It was called " Document Imaging and Document Scanning" under Office Tools. I don't see the same option in Office 2007 Professional.

Is there any alternate option for carrying out the same task in Office 2007 ???

The same "MS Office Document Imaging and Scanning" is included in Office 2007 but its available as an optional. I guess you might have missed it while installing your Office 2007 Professional. Anyways, you can add it again using Add/Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel.

Yes you can add it using Add/Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel.
    1. Click on ‘add and remove’ button in Control Panel and select ‘Change’
    2. Select ‘add and remove feature’ radio button, select ‘next’
    3. Select ‘Office Tool’ > ‘Microsoft Office Document Imaging’ > ‘ Scanning, OCR and Indexing Service Filter’ and select ‘run from computer’ under the drop down and head with the installation process.
