Office Student and Home version install

I am using Office 2007 standard trial version that is installed on my laptop and I want to convert to 2007 student version that I bought online. After many tries, it is still failing to convert, so I asked microsoft help through phone and was told to email my problem to some address. So, they gave me a link to fix the problem, but still am getting the same problem, that my activation key is not proper. I bought this program fron microsoft website and now am unable to get the suite activated. Can anyone please help me out? Thanks.

I think that you will need to completely uninstall the Standard trial version and then install Home and Student edition, it will work fine for you.

I have the same problem with my full version of the this software. My HP will not allow me to uninstall my program. Is it locked some where or what.
