After when I upgraded to Office 2007, the Microsoft Office Document Imaging disappeared. Now I am not able to print to or open any mdi files? Can anyone tell me what is going on? Thanks.

Actually, with Office 2003, the MS Office Document Imaging Application and printer are optional installation items. From Add and Remove Programs, in the Windows Control Panel, select 'change' on your Microsoft Office and then in Add or Remove Features locate the Microsoft Office Document Imaging selection and set it to 'run from my computer', it will work out for you.
OK, I have the part above and I am able to print with the "Microsoft Document Image Writer" but it will only print .tif files and they are
not as good as the .mdi files that my office 2003 would print. Is there
any way to fix this? ie. I can not copy and paste portions of a .tif file
like I can with the .mdi files...
OK... duh... I figured it out myself... it was under the "Printer Preferences" once the printer was shown in "Printers and Faxes" in the control panel.
(right click the printer icon)
